Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! 

A time to enjoy the sweet comforts of family and friends.  Oh and don't forget the turkey!  I always say I won't over eat but..darn, my family are great cooks!

Our Hours over the holiday will vary.  We will be closing Friday at 4pm.  Saturday we may be open until 3ish if customers are still about.  Christmas day - Closed.  New Years Eve we will be closing at 4pm and we will be closed all day New Years Day.

Starting this week we are going to try something new.

Today's box lot is a grouping of yellow and red items.  Kitchy looking isn't it?  Original tags add up to over $130.  But, alas...they have been here too long.   Now only $45 plus tax.

Jewelry Junking!

We are about to embark on a 3 day buying spree.  Heading to Concord, NC to buy jewelry.  Junky jewels and precious sparklies.  At least that's our plan.  You put 4 girls into one car and send them out with money in their pockets for a junking spree and who really knows WHAT we will come back with!!  Margie and Kent are minding the shop while we are gone.  For now, here are some pictures of some of the jewels we currently have in the shop.

Fellow Friend and Fiendish Artist Tom S Kuebler has loaned us one of his creatures...."The Scream Queen".  We thought we'd share her with you for a Happy Halloween.  Play it safe kiddies!

So.....did you think we dropped out of sight?  NO, we're still here but I've been lazy and now I want to get back to some routine so you folks will know what is going on with us at Reid's Country Sampler.  

 There has been a lot of changes.  More goodies to come on in.  My load from Florida will arrive next week.  Can't wait to unpack!

The town of Selma was kind enough to choose the front of our shop for the placement of the street's new water access.  I get to water my plants!


I for one am very greatful to the town of Selma.  I have been dragging water buckets from the back of the shop for our trees for years.  


Phew!  In this heat that chore is be miserable!

So for all of you wanting to cool off.....!

Come on in the air conditioning is on here at Reid's.  Third floor may be a tad warm but it's worth the trip.

Our Father's Day Event was such a success that Cheryl and I had to go on a buying trip. We will be bringing in fresh stock later this week.

We found a great "Kitchy Estate" and will be filling our shelves with hundreds of swanky swigs and retro kitchen treasures.

Be sure to keep an eye on this spot for upcoming items. Better yet, come on in out of the heat and visit with us! Always glad to have you cross our doors.

Our Little Bentley is ready for our Father's Day Event.

We've had several dealers through "scouting out" what's for sale. What fun! Doors open at 10 a.m. Saturday.

We heard that bunnies had been seen hopping around the shop lately.
They must have come to take a rest here in the corner of Booth #26.

Easter will be here before you know it !

The sun is shining today and it just made us think of picnics and parties. Why not start out with a bottle of --- PEPSI ---, or something else of your choosing. You wouldn't want to drink these, but check out the great bottles and advertising that Vendor #15 has. Brings back memories of summer picnics by the pond.

If you don't want to drink right out of the bottle, why not check out Vendor #4. This is just one set of vintage drink glasses. The set even comes with a nice handled tray.

Even more wonderful vintage bar necessities can be found in Vendor LIA's booth. This cupboard is full of wonderful pitchers, glasses and shakers. No reason to go around thirsty when you have so much variety to choose from !

If by chance you don't finish that bottle of whatever you were drinking, stop in Booth LJC23, you could use one of these cute bottle corks to keep it fresh for the next time !
